Summer Camp 6/18/2006
Worth Ranch
Everyone made it to the church
on time.
We loaded the trailer and were off to Worth Ranch.
After a short lunch at
Wataburger in Mineral Wells we rolled
into camp. Our timing was very good. We were one
of the first Troops to arrive at Worth Ranch.
When I go to Worth Ranch they
put me in the
worst campsite on the property.
When Sandy goes, the Troop gets the best campsite.
They are in Coca-Cola thirty feet from the old dining hall!!
Notice the flag pole and shelter!
Once again our timing was good.
Dayton and Austin taking their swim test have the
pool to themselves.
Troop 127 is not in the photo
below and the reason is Sandy
made us do our swim test's before camp. It is about 3:00 pm, one zillion degrees
and the line was growing
when I left with four more Troops off to the left getting instruction.
Parents, the time devoted to taking the swim test early was well
worth it. Thanks!
Troop 127 had completed camp
set up, health checks, and remaining swim tests when I left at 3:30 pm.
They had also made a trip to the Trading Post. They were doing well and focused
on dinner.
