Day 8
Most of the group
decided to get up early
and take in the sunrise from the east face of
Comanche Peak. The morning was a little cloudy
but it was still a wonderful site to see.
On the north side of the
trail we found
some chairs someone had built for us. They provided a almost comfortable place to
take in the view.
Back at camp we had breakfast and pack up.
As we ate we decided to
all walk back to the
peak to enjoy one last look at the view. Baldy is
the mountain or the right side of the picture.
Someone who came before
us sure had the
right idea. This is a good place to set and take it all in.
We hit the trail and our
next stop was
the summit of Mt. Phillips, but there was still some
climbing to be done.
